Brazilian straightening seems to be the current new hair trend. More and more women are opting for this technique in order to obtain smoother and silkier hair. But how does it work? What are its advantages?

WHAT IS BRAZILIAN STRAIGHTENING?

As the name suggests, Brazilian straightening is a new hair straightening technique. However, its stake is not only aesthetic. Indeed, if you want to maintain and nourish your hair, this hair trend turns out to be a relevant choice.

Brazilian straightening involves injecting keratin into the scales of the scalp. Once the hair fibers are relaxed, the hair will gradually become stiff.

HOW DOES THIS WORK ?

The results obviously depend on the natural quality of your hair. For example, if you have curly hair, straightening will decrease your curls first. If your hair is curly, it will take on the wavy shape after straightening. And finally, if you have wavy hair, your hair will get really smooth after the procedure.

STEP 1: WASHING THE HAIR

We will first wash your scalp with a purifying shampoo. The goal is to remove the micro-scales from your hair so that the keratin can better penetrate them.

STEP 2: DRYING

Once your hair is washed, you will then need to dry it. Note that Brazilian straightening can only be done on very dry hair.

STEP 3: SMOOTHING ITSELF

After having dried your hair well, we will finally proceed to the straightening itself, with a straightening iron. The duration of straightening may vary depending on the natural curl and the quality of your hair. If these are damaged or very frizzy, smoothing may take much longer.

Please note that for satisfactory results you should only wash your hair after three days.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF BRAZILIAN STRAIGHTENING?

Thanks to the dose of keratin contained in the masks, you will restore shine to your hair and it will become much healthier and silky. On the other hand, for those who complain of having unruly or too voluminous hair, Brazilian straightening can solve your problem. Note that Brazilian smoothing has a durability that can range from four to six months.
